Lauren Pomerson (she/her/hers) is a Korean-American who grew up in Virginia, moved to Vermont for college and never left. While studying Environmental Studies and Food Systems at University of Vermont, she gained a passion for sustainability, food justice, and access to the outdoors. She has been living in Vermont for about 10 years now and loves calling the Green Mountains her home. Lauren is looking forward to providing a space for OA in Vermont and

developing an inclusive and supportive community.

 

In the warmer months with long days, you can usually find Lauren on a bike, hiking/running, climbing, or in a swimming hole. She’s learned it’s also important to have a winter hobby with our 6 month long winters here in New England and also enjoys exploring the backcountry on skis as well as a good sledding hill. When she needs a chill day, she loves knitting, reading,  baking cakes, and cuddling with her two pups.
