Giselle Cummings

Giselle (she/her/hers) is a 2nd-generation, mixed-roots Filipino-American from Denver, CO. She gained an appreciation for the outdoors while attending school in Oregon, where she spent most of her time exploring the coast and the lush PNW forests. After a teaching stint in South Korea (which has incredible hiking!), she returned to Denver to work with the community she grew up in. She is a firm believer in building power and equity for AANHPIs, immigrants, refugees, and youth, and she hopes that will shape her new adventures with Outdoor Asian as well. You can find her spending too much money on desserts, sipping oolong, petting dogs, and hiking.
