Kevin Rivera

Kevin Rivera (he/him) is a 2nd gen Filipino-American, conceived in the Philippines and born in the San Francisco Bay Area. He went to San Francisco State University with a major in Communication Studies and later started working as a rock climbing instructor which led him to discover his love for sport climbing, national parks, and yelping the closest all you can eat sushi buffet after a long day of climbing. He later moved to Los Angeles where he teaches rock climbing and performs with an all Filipino improv team, Filipino AF. Kevin’s favorite things include: plants, ice cream, Pokemon Go, and building community to grow inclusive spaces for Asian and Pacific Islander folks in the outdoors.
