Maddy Laoprasert

Maddy Laoprasert (she/they) is a 2nd generation Thai-American who grew up in Englewood, CO. She connects with nature through the way light filters through leaves, laughter drifts through trees, and birdsong blends into stillness and reflection. But some of her favorite memories are shared ones: playing games in the forest, swapping stories under the stars, and gathering around a warm, family-style meal after a hike.

Maddy is committed to nurturing spaces of belonging– not just with the land, but within each other and ourselves. They enjoy organizing affinity spaces that center community care and joy. Through Outdoor Asian, they look forward to continuing this work, deepening relationships and celebrating AANHPI identities and narratives within outdoor spaces.
